Cardiac risk assessment evaluates an individual's risk of developing cardiovascular disease. This risk assessment can then direct the use of medications and adoption of lifestyle habits with the goal of reducing an individual’s risk of future heart attack or stroke. We conduct this risk assessment by reviewing your medical history, performing a physical examination, checking specific lab and imaging tests as needed. Regular cardiac risk assessment is recommended for all adults as part of their routine healthcare.
